The Fat Cow Food Co.

Shop8/10 Main St, Timboon

The Fat Cow Food Co is renowned for their use of fresh local produce, presentation and exceptional service. Katie and Matt enjoyed a great coffee here once and were very impressed by the sound of the food. Make sure to check out the bathroom as they have comic strips all over the walls. Unfortunately this café is for sale, so may not still be operating in January.

Places to eat in the area...

Timboon Distillery

1 Bailey St, Timboon

This picturesque location provides a great range of both meals and snacks. Katie and Matt haven’t eaten a meal here before, but loved the ice cream (salted caramel was divine)! The décor is pleasant and the food looked and sounded appetizing. It was quite difficult for Matt to walk past the cakes and other sweets without getting one.

Timboon Provedore

37 Main St, Timboon

In the surrounds of a pretty little garden hides the Timboon Cheesery. Having sampled some of their cheeses, Matt would recommend this place for your cheese platter fix. There are even some tables in the garden you can enjoy your salami and delicious cheese at.

Club Warrnambool

86 Kepler St, Warrnambool

If the Queen visited Warnambool, she’d probably feel most at home having her tea at Club Warrnambool. It has the charm of the regal and elegant décor (and seats that feel like thrones) without the price tag you’d expect when you walk in. Club Warrnambool is a favourite of the Dalton ladies who love to share cake and coffee here.

Cafe Lava

225 Lava St, Warrnambool

Katie and Matt ate here on their most recent trip to Warrnambool. Matt thought the sliders were pretty good, and is looking forward to trying the arancini next time they go! The soups also sounded delicious, and they had a large selection of teas and hot chocolates. If you pay byEftpos, make sure to ask for your receipt and watch in awe as it prints from their nifty iPad gadget.

Katie enjoyed a rose and raspberry dessert, Matt loved his salted caramel dessert and they were both very impressed when they saw the mini croquembouche!
