OUR WEDDING

The Fat Cow Food Co.
Shop8/10 Main St, Timboon
Roughly $15-$20pp
The Fat Cow Food Co is renowned for their use of fresh local produce, presentation and exceptional service. Katie and Matt enjoyed a great coffee here once and were very impressed by the sound of the food. Make sure to check out the bathroom as they have comic strips all over the walls. Unfortunately this café is for sale, so may not still be operating in January.
Places to eat in the area...

Timboon Distillery
1 Bailey St, Timboon
http://www.timboondistillery.com.au
~$15-$20pp
This picturesque location provides a great range of both meals and snacks. Katie and Matt haven’t eaten a meal here before, but loved the ice cream (salted caramel was divine)! The décor is pleasant and the food looked and sounded appetizing. It was quite difficult for Matt to walk past the cakes and other sweets without getting one.

Timboon Provedore
37 Main St, Timboon
http://timboonprovedore.wix.com
A cute little café and deli that also has a wide selection of gourmet grocery treats and other goodies. Katie and Matt had a coffee together here once in their small but sweet seating area, and came close to buying a teacup before leaving.

Timboon Cheesery
23 Ford & Fells Road, Timboon
http://visit12apostles.com.au/businesses/detail/mousetrap-cafe-timboon/
In the surrounds of a pretty little garden hides the Timboon Cheesery. Having sampled some of their cheeses, Matt would recommend this place for your cheese platter fix. There are even some tables in the garden you can enjoy your salami and delicious cheese at.

Kermond's Hamburgers
151 Lava St, Warrnambool
https://www.facebook.com/KermondsHamburgers
Katie and Matt have eaten here twice to enjoy a delicious, sloppy burger. Although this place is listed in the top 100 hamburgers in the world, Katie and Matt found their thickshakes to be just as special! The purple people eater thickshake is their favourite.

Club Warrnambool
86 Kepler St, Warrnambool
http://www.clubwarrnambool.com.au/
If the Queen visited Warnambool, she’d probably feel most at home having her tea at Club Warrnambool. It has the charm of the regal and elegant décor (and seats that feel like thrones) without the price tag you’d expect when you walk in. Club Warrnambool is a favourite of the Dalton ladies who love to share cake and coffee here.

Cafe Lava
225 Lava St, Warrnambool
Katie and Matt ate here on their most recent trip to Warrnambool. Matt thought the sliders were pretty good, and is looking forward to trying the arancini next time they go! The soups also sounded delicious, and they had a large selection of teas and hot chocolates. If you pay byEftpos, make sure to ask for your receipt and watch in awe as it prints from their nifty iPad gadget.

Wangoom General Store & Tearooms
9 Wangoom-Warrumyea Rd, Wangoom
http://www.wangoomgeneralstore.com
Katie’s family have been coming to this quaint general store, tearoom and gift shop for many years. Every time Katie & Matt come here they have a wander through the gift shop and more often than not come away with something pretty, or tea-related.
To satisfy your sweet tooth:

2 Tarts Bakery
147 Kepler St, Warrnambool
https://www.facebook.com/2TartsBaking
Katie and Matt have been here a few times and always look forward to coming back. On more than one occasion they have shared a pot of a flavourful brewed chai latte. The sweets are the perfect combination of delicious and affordable. Katie enjoyed a rose and raspberry dessert, Matt loved his salted caramel dessert and they were both very impressed when they saw the mini croquembouche!
Because you deserve good coffee:

Piccolo Coffee Roasters
Shop 8, 743 Raglan Parade, Warrnambool
http://www.piccolocoffee.com.au
A coffee roaster in Warrnambool where you can watch the coffee roasting and drink the coffee! We had not heard of this place before, but now that we know it exists, we will be paying it a visit on our next trip into Warrnambool.

Brightbird Espresso
157 Liebig St, Warrnambool
Matt is probably Brightbird’s biggest fan, he loves everything from their logo and décor to the nice smelling hand soap they have in the bathrooms. When we ordered coffee from here, they gave us an espresso shot of a new blend they had for free.
If you're feeling fancy:

Pickled Pig
78 Leibig St, Warrnambool

“How have I not heard of this place before? We have to try it next time we’re down!” Matt thought to himself after seeing the food pictures. “Well, it was a nice thought,” Matt thought to himself after seeing the prices on the menu.
